I had to leave Boomtown in Harvey, Louisiana with my money still in the machine. THE THING ABOUT IT IS, THE FISH STINKS FROM THE HEAD.… Do yourself a favor and find a REAL hotel. THEY CHARGE YOU FOR AMENITIES THAT DO NOT EXIST THERE. NASTY STAFF, NASTY HOTEL and NASTY ROOMS. SAVE YOURSELF!!SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF IRRITATION and AGGRAVATION by not even looking at this trash hotel. BE CAREFUL when you check out because your hundred dollars will probably be short FOR NO REASON, when you finally get it back. There is nothing in that nasty rat trap worth a hundred dollars. They have the nerve to hold a 100 dollar deposit on your card. The beds seemed like they had not been cleaned and changed. The walls are filthy, the floors are filthy, there was HAIR in the coffee pot. From the elevator to the inside of the room was filthy. In a queen double, we were given ONE tiny round piece of soap. During this time of flu season, covid and it's variants, it feels so dangerous and unsanitary. There are shampoo and bath wash bottles hanging in the shower that you share with everyone. This NASTY, FILTHY, FULL OF INCOMPETENCE and BAD ATTITUDES HOTEL charges 9.98 per night for amenities. They seem to be so unhappy and combative. THIS HOTEL IS THE WORST HOTEL THAT I HAVE EVER STAYED AT IN MY 60 PLUS YEARS ON THIS PLANET! The staff needs to be trained on 'hospitality' first of all. It should have been my first clue when I was able to get a reservation at Boomtown at the last minute. My sister was coming to town and insisted on bringing in the new year at a Casino. I swore off Boomtown hotel, Harvey, Louisiana after my last visit there.
